Blue Morelos – Tostadas & Tacos

Great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

TOSTADAS & TACOS  The location is small and simple, but if you can find a table, be sure to order up a round of tostadas… But what the heck is a tostada?! Well, it’s basically the REAL version of a hard shell taco.. Only it’s round and flat!! Get some with seafood on top and find out for yourself! You won’t regret it.

Trisha’s Tip: You must try THE TRISHA TACO!!! That’s right, my very own BLUE MORELOS taco. The cajun tuna and guero are 2 of my favorites as well.

Experience fine dining from START to FINISH!  The tour begins with a walk through the garden and the jungle.  Roque, your guide, will teach you all about the land (on which he was actually raised!).  Enlighten your senses in the food garden– taste and smell the freshness! Then let Chef Karla Romo explain how food is prepared, including the “pib” which is an ancient Mayan way to cook food below the ground.  You will then be served a 6-course menu, which includes handmade tortillas and fire oven bread, as well as dishes prepared with fresh ingredients from the organic garden. The meal is accompanied by a fine tasting of regional wines and Mexican mezcals.

There are over 6,500 cenotes in the Yucatan Peninsula! This underground river system has openings all over the jungle and this tour not only has ATVs and ziplines, but it also includes two types of cenotes! The first is an underground cave with stalactites hanging from the ceiling. The second is an open-air cenote surrounded by jungle.  Test your fear of heights by jumping from multiple platforms (as high as 40 feet!!) or dropping into the water from a zip line.
