Come not only TASTE Tequila but come and SEE Tequila!  YES, Tequila is also a town in Jalisco, Mexico!  You get a full experience of tequila, yes of course taste it, but also see the whole process.  You will stop in the agave fields and see the plant in its natural form where you will want to take your instagram photos with these beautiful plants.  Then you stop for a tasting in a beautiful hacienda where the agave plant is processed.  You will walk through the entire process and have a whole new appreciation for this drink!

Next, you will get to try cantaritos!  A stop on the side of the road where you are served this delicious tequila drink served in a clay jar that you get to keep as a souvenir! The price ranges from about $7USD to $12USD depending on the size you order and the type of tequila.  I ordered the large (not giant for like 12 people) with Herradura Tequila and it was about $12USD and delicious.

The last stop is where you get time to explore the town of TEQUILA!  You get about 2-3 hours and it is so much fun.  I grabbed lunch in town, danced with mariachis, had another cantarito and of course, took a photo in front of the beautiful sign that says “TEQUILA”

Then your return back to the original meeting place.  We stopped at an OXXO and grabbed some beers so if you wanna stop on the way back and others on the trip agree that’s nice because you have about a 45 min to hour drive back.
