For three days, we will be in the heart of the jungle on the Ruta De Los Cenotes, near Puerto Morelos, Mexico. You can choose from an array of activities that cater to both relaxation and fun, including massages, singing bowls, temazcal, and a macrame class. This trip is an opportunity to disconnect to reconnect with yourself and others, something that we might not even know we need or perhaps, we do know! Join other women who are looking for a break and an opportunity to unwind, make new friends, and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time in the jungle. During your stay at Mama Loo.mm, you’ll be provided with all meals and snacks, including lunch and dinner on the first day, a continental breakfast followed by a hot breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the second day, and a continental breakfast followed by a hot breakfast on the last day.
Mama Loo.mm’s seven Yurt Glamping spots are spread across seven acres of jungle land, and the lack of electricity provides a unique opportunity to fully immerse yourself in nature without the distractions of harsh lighting and noise. The property offers proper bathrooms with toilets and hot water for showers with environmentally friendly shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. ( I want to buy some its so good) The main palapa is a large gathering space where you can enjoy meals, play games, and socialize. The property also has a pool with cenote water that you can swim in, and an outdoor living room where you can relax, read a book, or simply take in the beautiful surroundings. You’ll have plenty of free time to unwind, socialize with new people, read, or spend some time alone. However you choose to spend your time, you’re guaranteed to have an unforgettable experience exploring the jungle and making new friends.

When I met the owners of Mama Loo.mm towards the end of 2020, we connected instantly. My first visit was intended to be just a one-night stay, but I ended up extending it to three nights. The next time I visited, I had planned for a two-night stay, but it turned into four nights. This is when I knew I really wanted to share this place with others.
Initially, I was nervous during my first visit since I knew there would be no internet, and my business relies entirely on an online presence. However, the experience was transformative. I realized that we all need a break like this from time to time, even if we don’t realize it. As many of us work online and are constantly in front of screens, it’s essential to disconnect from technology to reconnect with ourselves, others, and nature. I fondly refer to this as “disconnect to reconnect” because it allows us to connect with friends, listen to the sounds of the jungle, and have conversations that we might have otherwise missed.
During my second visit, I shared my experience with the owners and we came up with that we should organize a trip for others who might benefit from a similar experience. They were very supportive and ready to welcome us on this idea! We had 2 other groups come out for one night and everyone said it was too short of a stay, and I mean everyone. So that s why this time we are doing 2 nights with an option to extend.
